Fakes (or spammers) are people behind profiles who try to lure you with offers or services — and are not on Fetish.com to be kinky or social.
These days, fakes act in surprisingly creative and unusual ways. Often, they’ll write with unrealistic offers, try to get your email address, or attempt to redirect you to external websites.
Profiles where someone pretends to be someone else (for example, men pretending to be women) are also considered fake.
❗ If someone asks for your email address early in the conversation or writes with poor grammar and strange behavior, be cautious. When in doubt, report the profile — we’ll investigate.
If you reply to a fake, you might get messages about paid services or links to other platforms. Some just send their email address and ask you to continue there — they may later use that address to send you spam.
